We're going to Pebble Beach for the 2027 US Open.. and we can hardly wait!
The last time the Pebble Beach Links hosted the US Open Golf Tournament was 2019, and yes, there have been plenty of great destinations hosting the tournament since then (Pinehurst, Torrey Pines to name a few), but there is nothing at the level of THE Pebble Beach.

The history, the scenery, and the moments that have happened at Pebble have helped make the legends of the game that much bigger because they happened here.. who can forget Tiger Woods winning the tournament by 15 strokes in 2000. But there is much more to a trip to Pebble Beach than just the incredible golf. It's the whole experience...the views from nearly every angle of the ocean meeting the pure green of the fairways and the incredible vibe being at a tournament on this course. It's a trip that you will never forget.

Where we are staying for the 2027 US Open Golf Tournament:
For the Sports Traveler 2027 US Open Golf tour packages, we will be returning to the Hilton Santa Cruz. The hotel recently underwent an extensive renovation, and they nailed it. It has that California-style, woodsy, exterior with modern, sleek guest rooms that have all the amenities. There is a nice fitness center, full service on-site restaurant and bar, and room service. Plus, they have significantly updated their outdoor pool and recreation areas giving guests a relaxing outdoor space to chill after a long day on the course. And let's not forget the gorgeous mountain views in every direction! If you are up for a sunset experience, head 15 mintues down the road to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and Santa Cruz Wharf for a seaside evening out.

The hotel is perfectly located for golf fans heading to the US Open and is about 30 minutes south of San Jose International Airport (SJC). Sports Traveler includes a personalized meet and greet with private car transfers to take you from the airport to the hotel in style. The Hilton is also about one hour north from Pebble Beach, and Sports Traveler provides you with shuttle van service along with one of our friendly on-site hosts to get you to and from the tournament with ease.

How to best experience the US Open Golf Tournament:
The best way to fully experience the US Golf Tournament is upgrading your ticket to Trophy Club access. This pavilion type structure is located on the grounds of the course and provides shade, upscale food and beverages to purchase, and live stream tv coverage of the tournament so you don't miss a minute of the action on the course. Another fantastic feature of Trophy Club is the comfortable places to sit and rest in between watching your favorite players. Pebble Beach can be a challenging course to walk, so adding on this option will help keep you rested and energized to explore throughout your day.
US Open Golf Packages are available for a recommended two days of tournament play, either opening rounds (Thursday and Friday), middle rounds (Friday and Saturday), Final Rounds (Saturday and Sunday), or All Rounds (Thursday-Sunday). You can also customize the trip to your specific dates of travel and number of rounds you want to attend. Remember, cut day is Friday, so the full field will only be on the course for Thursday's and Friday's rounds. After that, on Saturday and Sunday, the field is reduced so there are less golfers to watch, and the galleries can get more crowded.

From the moment you go through the gates at Pebble Beach, you will find yourself overwhelmed deciding which way to explore first. Make your way to #8 and #9 to see those famous sweeping cliffs that look like the fairway and greens are clinging to the side. Then head to #13 with a green charging towards the Pacific Ocean. And of course, #18, site of so many dramatic finishes throughout the history of this tournament.
I hope you can be there with us to experience it all.
