NRG Stadium – Houston, Texas
Located in Houston, Texas, NRG Stadium is home to the Houston Texans of the National Football League. NRG Stadium was the host of Super Bowl XXXVIII, and is the annual home to the Texas Bowl, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. NRG Stadium is part of a collection of venues, which are collectively called NRG Park. The entire complex is named after NRG Energy. NRG Stadium has a seating capacity of 71,500. NRG Stadium also hosts various concerts and entertainment acts throughout the year. NRG Stadium also played host to the 2016 Final Four where Villanova claimed the title over UNC.

NRG Stadium features a seating capacity of 72,220 within its 1.9 million sq. ft. facility. The stadium utilizes a steel retractable roof that can open within 7 minutes if necessary for various events. Visitors to the stadium can enjoy one of the 196 suites throughout the stadium that feature luxurious amenities such as private balconies and catered food service.
Those outside of suite seating can enjoy a seating bowl that offers superb views and over 14,000 sq. ft. of video screens. The overall design of the stadium is based around kinetic architecture, meaning that great deals of outside light permeate throughout the building. The roofing of the stadium is designed with a fabric that gives the stadium its iconic glow during night games. As well, many concourses are fitted with multiple glass windows to make the stadium feel more open to the outside world.
Events:
Numerous events have been hosted out of NRG Stadium including all Houston Texans home games, Wrestlemania XXV, The 2011 & 2016 Final Four, and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo!
The stadium will also play host for Super Bowl 51 which will be the second Super Bowl hosted out of the building. The first Super Bowl hosted out of NRG Stadium, then called Reliant Stadium was Super Bowl XXXVIII.
