Thursday April 29, 2027: (4-night package guests) Keeneland Race Course, Old Friends Farm + Luncheon Following a hearty breakfast we depart this morning to historic Keeneland Race Course to take a private tour and watch the on-track morning workouts with champion horses and their jockeys. Then we will head to our private walking tour of Old Friends Farm, a retired horse farm for past race champions. See 2008 Derby Champion Big Brown and 1997 Derby Champion Silver Charm, along with many other great horses. From there, we will head to a delicious lunch served at a local resturant to complete our beautiful day touring the hills of Blue Grass Country! This evening enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks provided by the hotel.

Friday April 30, 2027:(3-night and 4-night guests) Horse Farm, Bourbon Distillery Tour & Kentucky Horse Park Access and Luncheon After enjoying breakfast, we will start the morning with a tour at a famous horse farm tour, home to champion race horse and training facilities. From there we will head to a private tour and tasting at a local Kentucky bourbon distillery. We will end our day with a visit to the Kentucky Horse Park and a hearty luncheon. Golf carts will be provided for exclusive access for Sports Traveler Guests to easily tour and experience the park. Visit the Champions Barn, watch the horse show featuring past champions, and visit the International Museum of the Horse. Finish the evening with complementary snacks and drinks provided by the hotel this evening. |
Saturday May 1, 2027:(All guests) Kentucky Derby Day! After breakfast served in the hotel restaurant we will depart for transportation to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby. We will park adjacent to the entrance gates for easy access to all sections of Churchill Downs. First post of the day is at 11:00am. There are 14 races on the track on Derby Day. The Kentucky Derby start time is 6:57 pm. Our return transportation to the hotel will depart 1.5 hours after the Kentucky Derby Trophy Presentation. |
