Opening in 2002, CenturyLink Field is home to the Seattle Seahawks. The maximum capacity of CenturyLink Field is 68,000, and can be expanded to 72,000 for special events. Starting in 2009, CenturyLink Field became home to the first MLS franchise in Seattle, the Seattle Sounders FC.
