Miami Open Tennis Tournament

The Miami Open is now located at the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.  The Miami Open Tournament, which had been previously held at the Tennis Center at Crandon Park, is considered one of the largest tennis tournaments in the world and ranks just behind tennis's four Grand Slam tournaments. Hard Rock Stadium, the tournament's new host site, can hold well over 60,000 spectators for events at the stadium! The Miami Open is played on a hard Laykolf surface and is part of the ATP & WTP tours.

The event itself hosts a large field of players that totals close to 200 athletes combined for singles and doubles. Because of the large number of tennis athletes competing, the tournament lasts 12 total days and features a 2-day Finals Weekend. The 2020 Miami Open will be the 36th installment of this prolific tournament. The buzz for this upcoming tournament revolves around the new stadium playing host to these superb athletes.

Hard Rock Stadium was recently renovated in 2016 to add a roof canopy and new luxury club suites. After this $350 million renovation the stadium quickly become known for its high-end club level amenities and features. Ticket holders in these club levels enjoy plush climated controlled lounges, gourmet concessions, and access to premium in-stadium bars and "clubs." The new canopy added to the stadium is also celebrated for providing additional protection from the elements for the stadium's attendees. This roof canopy covers a vast majority of the seats within Hard Rock Stadium.
