2014 Super Bowl

The home of the New York Giants and the New York Jets is hosting the Super Bowl XLVII on February 2, 2014.  Metlife Stadium will be the first outdoor stadium to host the Super Bowl in cold weather climate.  The Super Bowl has visited cold cities like Detroit, Minneapolis, and Indianapolis but all of those game were played indoors.  This time we get the priveledge of seeing one of the biggest events in sports teaming up with the New York area and the city that never sleeps.  It is important to note that when the Super Bowl hits the Northeast for the first time it could be the last.  The Super Bowl is always a special event but this could be the only time that the Super Bowl will be hosted outside in cold weather.  This season the fans will have to dress in layers for the Super Bowl!
