2015 College Football National Championship

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX will be the host of the first ever College Football Playoff Championship. The stadium is currently home to the Dallas Cowboys and has been since 2009. Up to 80,000 fans can be accommodated, with the option for expanding to hold 100,000.

AT&T Stadium has retractable roof with glass doors allowing each end zone to be opened, and a center-hung video display board which is rumored to be the largest HDTV in the world. The construction cost of the new stadium is estimated at $1 Billion, which makes it one of the most expensive sporting venues ever built. AT&T Sstadium also hosted Super Bowl XLV in 2011 when the Green Packers returned to glory by defeating the Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Cotton Bowl is also now held there annually. In addition to the Cotton Bowl, AT&T Stadium has also been the host of the Cowboys Classic since 2009.
