Angelo Bonadonna
Known at Sports Traveler Radio as "the statistician"
for his extensive and sometimes mind boggling knowledge of sports statistics. When he is not broadcasting at STR, he is the current
Sports Director of WXAV 88.3 FM in Chicago,
Illinois, and is the voice of the Chicago Fire MLS Soccer Team Podcast. His former radio experience includes producer, music
DJ, and sports broadcaster/analyst. Angelo is a dedicated Chicago
sports fan, especially to his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs. His
favorite sport to discuss is football (the American kind), but he
also has extensive knowledge of baseball, basketball, hockey, curling,
rugby, and football (the European kind). Angelo is an
extensive world traveler having attended sporting events including the
2006 Winter Games in Torino, Italy, and other events throughout
North America, Europe, and Africa. Angelo loves podcasting, talking about all things
sports, and playing 'Stump the Gelo', an in-house sports stats game with
our sales team where he is the current champion.

Kevin Kellam
Kevin comes to STR with an impressive resume spanning all aspects of
radio and performance media. He is a graduate of Columbia College and
completed his internships at the popular Q101.1 WKQX FM – Chicago. Other
credits include Promotions Director / On-air Talent at WXAV 88.3 FM in
Chicago and Studio Assistant at WCRX FM in Chicago. He is also the
producer and voice of the Chicago Fire MLS Soccer Team Podcast that he
co-anchors alongside fellow STR host Angelo Bonadonna. Kevin is a former
student of Chicago's Second City improv house and still performs improv
at various locations in the City of Chicago. Welcome Kevin!

Chris “Pooch” Puchmelter
Chris or "Pooch" as he is known here in town, is a Chicago native and the
new producer and co-host of STR, Sports Traveler Radio. Pooch graduated from Saint Xavier University in
December of 2006 with a B.A. in Mass Communications (Magna Cum Laude) and has experience in radio
production, TV production, news writing, marketing, and promotions. He is the former Music Director of
WXAV 88.3FM Chicago and hosts Pooch’s Corner, a weekly music/entertainment based show on their airwaves. His
efforts with that show earned him the 2007 WXAV Gabriel Vaught Student Broadcaster of the Year Award. He plans
to continue that success with the launch of poochscorner.com, home to an internet radio program
that features the best in unsigned and indie artists. Pooch loves playing, watching, and talking sports
(especially when it has something to do with his Chicago Cubs, Bulls, or Bears). Though he has a busy
schedule, he enjoys making it out to as many sporting events as possible and encourages the STR listeners to
do the same.Nick Jakusz
Nick is a Chicago native and the former co-host of STR, Sports Traveler Radio. He
is the also the former Sports
Director, of WXAV 88.3 FM in Chicago,
Illinois, and the on-air co-host of the weekly sports talk show, The
Sports Bar. In addition, he is often the voice of broadcasts for the
St. Xavier University Cougar's home basketball and football games.
Nick's additional credits include WXAV
Gabriel Vaught Student Broadcaster of the Year, and Runner-up in the
Radio Longform category from the Illinois Broadcaster’s
Association’s Student Silver Dome Awards. Nick is
a graduate of St. Xavier University with a B.A. in Communications (Cum
Laude) including Radio Production, TV Production, and News Writing. Nick
is a dedicated Chicago sports fan and sports traveler having attended
many sporting events around the USA. Nick now the Sports Director
of KCSR 610 in Nebraska. We miss you!
