Usually a title of this sort would evoke memories of Christmas time and the holiday season, but not for me. I don't know about you guys, but for my money October is the best time to be a sports fan. We've got the Major League Baseball playoffs going on, the NFL season is in full swing, the NHL is back into regular season action, the NBA season is just about ready to tip off. Not to mention the fact that we're down to the final races in NASCAR's Chase for the Cup and that there is some great Champions League soccer action taking place in Europe right now. I know many would argue that college football's bowl season, the NFL's playoffs, or college basketball's March Madnessare even better periods for the sports fan. But for my money, it's right now when we're getting the most options of games to watch and sports to enjoy. My advice, sit back and let's enjoy it while we can.
